Kebaya & Batik

Traditional dress from Southeast Asia, especially Indonesia, Malaysia, and neighboring regions. The kebaya is a fitted, sheer blouse traditionally paired with a wrapped sarong skirt, often crafted from lace, brocade, or delicately embroidered fabric. Batik is cloth decorated using a wax-resist dyeing technique passed down for centuries, with patterns and colors that historically identified a wearer's home region, social rank, or even royal court affiliation across the archipelago.
