Flamenco & Mantilla

Traditional dress from Spain, rooted deeply in Andalusian culture and history. The flamenco dress is a ruffled, fitted gown that originated at Andalusian fairs before becoming closely linked to flamenco dance and stage performance across the region. The mantilla is an ornate lace veil worn over a tall decorative comb called a peineta, traditionally reserved for weddings, religious processions such as Semana Santa, bullfights, and other formal ceremonial occasions throughout Spain.
